* * As stated in the school handbook, students must be absent at least 3 consecutive days to request books for make-up work. Teachers are posting assignments on School Notes that can be accessed fromm this site. You will need the teachers last name and school zip code - 26719. If books are needed, please call the school and allow one day for the materials to be gathered.

*Meal Payments: When sending money in for payments it is VERY IMPORTANT to attach the bill with your payment. Otherwise, write your student's FULL NAME or ID NUMBER on the envelope or check.

*If sending in a CASH PAYMENT, please put money in an envelope labeled with your student's NAME or ID number. Payments cannot be recorded correctly without proper identification. We have over 300 students in the building making payments and many of them have duplicate first names. Thank you.

Mission
: Frankfort Intermediate School will provide a safe, nurturing environment where all students have opportunities to meet or exceed state goas and objectives for academic and social achievement. The curriculum will utilize technology, family and community involvement, and career awareness. Our educational program will reflect relevancy of 21st century skills.
**There are new guidelines for visitors to Mineral County Schools. All visitors entering the schools must produce a photograph ID and be authorized by an authorized school staff member before receiving access into the school. The staff member will retain the photo ID and give the visitor a badge that will be displayed in a visible location. The visitor's photo ID will be returned at the conclusion of the visit. You may find this new guideline in the MINERAL COUNTY FILE: KM-R.
